M14 Spring Airsoft Sniper Rifle
Amazon.com Product Description
A 1:1 scale replica of an M14 rifle, this airsoft gun is remarkably authentic. The rifle fires round 6mm plastic pellets known as BBs, which are propelled out of the gun via a spring mechanism. The advantage of the airsoft rifle, however, is that players can safely train, simulate, or play with the gun without fearing serious injury. The M14 looks, feels, weighs, and functions just like a real firearm, but is built for casual recreation rather than weaponized use. In fact, the only way you can typically tell a real-steel firearm from an airsoft gun is the blazing orange tip and the BBs that fire when you pull the trigger. The rifle includes an adjustable hop-up, a barrel cleaning rod, and a speedloader.
Specifications:
- Velocity: 280 to 300 fps
- Range: 120 feet
- Magazine: 37 rounds
- Spring single shot
- Adjustable hop-up
- Barrel cleaning rod
- Speedloader

Normally you would spend hundreds of dollars on a good airsoft rifle. Well hell, why not just save the money and buy a real rifle.
What caught my attention was the price. It is only $35! I thought it was too good to be true but reviews through out the internet say it is a decent rifle.
I recieved it today along with a package of 0.12g BBs. The rifle weighs roughly 8 pounds. Very accurately designed and weighted to a real M-14 rifle. The stock is plastic but the barrel and inner workings are all made out of metal.
I tested it with the .2g bbs that came with it and they penetrated the cardboard box at 20 feet. I took it outside to test at a longer distance. The .12g BBs are horrible, they shoot straight for about 30 feet and then curve off in a random direction. The .2g BBs however shoot very straight with adjustment to the hop up. I have already ordered two bags of .2g bbs along with a reflex site to mount on the rail.
I am incredibly satisfied with my purchase. For the price, you get a lot.
I have not recieved the reflex sight yet, but this is what I ordered along with 2 bags of biodegradable .2g BBs. I ordered these two items
directly from the Airsplat website as they where less expensive there. (links below)

During target practice I found this rifle to be very accurate (with .2 bbs) and powerful – penetrated a plastic cup at about 30 feet. I had several experienced airsoft players take a look, cock it and fire it. These are kids with upgraded TM and CA rifles that shoot 400 fps or more, but they all commented on the speed and accuracy. A couple of the guys said “wow, that’s a strong spring!”. And indeed it is, the specs say 280-300 fps, but I’d say that’s on the low end. Honestly, I fired some of these upgraded high-end guns, and I felt I was getting the same distance & could plink a telephone pole at 50-60 feet, straight as an arrow.
Bottom line here: tremendous value for target practice and sniping. Highly, highly recommended. Oh, and “cauk” is neither what you do to compress a rifle spring nor what you grout with. That would be “caulk”. In any event, saying it’s hard to cock is just another way to say it has a stout spring. With proper technique, cocking the gun is not difficult.
